How does it work and
how can we get started?
LET'S GET STARTED
Here’s all the information you need to take the next step towards helping your child improve their English or Maths.
What are the English and Maths lessons like?
All KS2 and KS3 English and Maths and GCSE English lessons are delivered online. With the integration of technology, student engagement increases and assessment becomes more efficient, ensuring students make progress. Take a look on my YouTube channel at some of the tools I use in my lessons and some of my student’s work in how I teach.
Lessons are designed with your child’s specific needs and interests in mind. Positive re-enforcement gives the children confidence and a self-belief that is then taken into the classroom. Regular feedback is given to parents and carers, with a summary of the progress and curriculum objectives worked on in that lesson.
- Each child is sent a link to their own Bitpaper and can be accessed at any time. BitPaper is a collaborative whiteboard that allows both the child and teacher to write on it at the same time. Students love using it!
- Zoom is used securely to deliver the classes and recordings can be provided to parents upon request.
-
At the end of each class I send an email to the parent(s) with a summary of what has been covered, the student's progress and areas I recommend to work on in the future.
